Production is the center portion of a stage within film-making. This is a stage where film-makers utilize the process and plan from pre-production, which holds story boarding, script, and shot lists. Through this phase, it is essential to keep preparing before the shoot. The central aim is to stick to the sources and schedule, this necessitates continuous attention. Communication is key within the location, set, office, production company, distributors – ‘in contrast, everyone within the film involved’.

My shooting started around 10 am and ended at 5 pm, It was full and enthused moment while capturing the shots. With new storylines and characters, it increased my intensity of shooting as well as experience from As level was very efficient and it also gave me the interest to capture moreover my As level experience helped me to understand cinematography more adverse and it also heightened my technicalities on adjusting the pieces of equipment according to light intensity within the atmosphere.
This film is titled as Irandu Disaigal (Two directional) therefore I had to shoot in two characters perspective and this film did not hold night sequential shots in which we need extra lighting as well as low aperture lenses but since this was captured during daylight I just had to adjust the inbuilt settings and it did not require me to add extra outputs
This film consists of extra characters within a scene which required a stable shot as well as a mid angle shot however to compromise this shot a cinematographer should utilize tripod because it helps the shot to be stable but I wanted to try it distinctly, therefore, I did not utilize a tripod while shooting however I captured every shot in handheld and it was convincingly good and it did give me satisfaction.
EQUIPMENTS USED

CAMERA- 7D

CANON 7D- This is the same camera I equipped in my As levels and it offered a great quality in video capturing and user friendly too. As the film scenario was taken in presence of sunlight so it was pretty decent and easier to adjust settings.

LIGHTING NATURAL SOURCE- This lighting source is bright enough to keep up the scene too light and my narrative did not require night scenes therefore I shot the whole film during daylight and it was very easier to adjust ISO, Aperture and shutter speed and it was not very much adheres on adjusting settings moreover the shots were very crisp and very sharp.
DISTINGUISHING SCENES FROM STORYBOARD TO ORIGINAL FILM

This is the intro scene of Irandu Disaigal. This is an interview scene in which I used 18-135 mm lens to capture the shot, however I took the scene as a closeup to show the impact full emotions in a face of a character. Basically I took the shot by zooming ,and the key light for the scene was from the tube light which was attached on the wall and this was also taken in an handheld.
