The foremost desire for me to do a film criticism is because to create a comprehensive analysis of the movie. This will assist me in my film production in various viewpoints like characterizing because this film has a powerful role for characters, besides I am also working on to create a movie with the influence of this movie.

The movie is one of the Non-linear types of stories in the Tamil Language the film had three foremost characters, Micheal, Inba and Arjun.
In which all three have their backstory and at one point they three meet together, the movie begins with Micheal who provides a drive to Arjun on the main highway, and Inba intends to shoot Micheal and follow him in a car.
And once all three reach a bridge Inba shoots Micheal, and at that point, the director took the story backward and attempts to describe each character narrative to the audience.
Within that director also attempts to show the character’s narrative via colors, Director used Red, Green and blue as three colors to represent characters.
Mani Ratnam the genius author has quite a lot to say. with the straight forward plot including a sensitive focus. the climax was a little disappointed as he is unable to balance up the characters and half the film was a flashback with great narrations.
but after it.
The story needed more extra, character support and the director did not give equal judgment role for all three he made Inba more vulnerable it would have been more satisfying if Inba got rejoined with his wife but alternatively he is taken to Jail.
which is a sort of less balancing in characterization because those two received what they wanted but Inba with the stronger environment in his backstory he is not given what he needed through the conclusion.
otherwise, the film owned a great sequence of three characters the way Mani Ratnam consolidated three characters in one point and took the narrative backward for each character was surprisingly transcendent but he did not present a good judgment so I would rank this film 75 of 100.

INBA-, a gangster works under a politician who comprehends nothing, just the intense methods of survival and even performs sentiment violently with his wife Sasi. Inba commissions a love-hate relationship with his wife. He is an antagonist in the entire plot and in his narrative, he is a protagonist because as stated every individual of three have their backstory, therefore, Inba is the central character in his narrative. The foremost purpose the director wanted to expose Inba in red color is because to express Inba as a revenge sort of personality. The director also wanted to present Inba as irritable basically Inba characterization expresses that he is a sort of person who wants to be rich and short-tempered who gets irritated so fast. If things won’t go according to him and if he gets angry he could not restrain it, instead he would beat up anyone, including his wife, even though he tortures her, she still embraces him that’s the support where Inba gets from ,and she is the only one who worries about Inba.

MICHEAL– The intelligent student leader and social activist who has rejected a scholarship in the US. Because he desires to strive for the poor, which leads him in direct conflict with a professional politician Selva. The main reason director wanted to expose Micheal in green color is because the green color expresses the color of life, peace and freshness ,therefore, Micheal who requires a great society, including good leaders ,and is a sort of personality who perceives everything in a pessimistic way. with craze on the country and objects by comprehending that students should take place in politics which would change the society so Director wanted to express these attributes of Micheal via green color.

ARJUN-An engineer who has an enthusiasm for taking a career in U.S. Where he meets a girl (Meera) and falls in love at the first sight, and later attempts to impress her, subsequent to that he meets Micheal and gets influenced on entering to politics, and drops his dream of travelling to the USA. This character is represented as blue because blue primarily symbolizes water, and his role is narrated with the influence of water. Which won’t be stable as his character is not firm, like his decisions he constantly switches it, and he is also too lethargic and is a chill sort of personality. Besides, he is a sort of person who does not bother about others, except himself. But once he coincides with Micheal he gets influenced by his character and becomes stable with his decisions. The main contrast and connections within Micheal and Arjun is that both of them are students, in which Michael rejected on going to the US, however Arjun wanted to go to US, and in the resolution they both have equivalent approaches (Politics).
